I will be removing them from babyblogorama.net because after several attempts to collect what I supposedly won, I have realized this site has no intention of sending out gifts. I have tried several times to comment on their blog and the owner just deletes my comments.

Do not give them your personal information! I am sorry that I listed them on my site and hope no one else has gotten this same treatment.

I just don't have the time/focus/energy/etc. to maintain the site and read all of your blogs. It's taken me more than a little while to admit it, but I just can't do it. I want to read every post and do updates and I have all the intentions in the world... but getting it done is another story. The website will stay up and active, but I won't be doing any updates for the foreseeable future.

Diaper bag situation

I have reached a point where I am carrying an overloaded diaper bag and am wondering if I should search for a larger bag (I have a smallish backpack bag) or if I need to re-evaluate what I'm cramming in that poor bag.

I have 2 diapers and a small pack of wipes. 2 travel packs of antibacterial wipes. A bottle and formula case. A sippy cup with water. A travel container of puffs. I should carry a change of clothes, but there's no room for that or a burp cloth.

My wallet is in there as well as a couple tins with lip balm and gum and small things I don't want to dig around for.

Like I said, I don't even have all the stuff I need. I tried carrying a separate bag for the food and sippy/bottles, but that got annoying having to keep up with two bags.

I thought getting a larger backpack - would that be too much?

I was searching today to see if there is a 9 month growth spurt (hey, I need excuse for the lack of sleep around here) and came across this site:

Sleep Is For The Weak

I especially love the excuses they have listed for children who apparently need no sleep. I am quite fond of E. The 'incredibly alert and socially advanced' excuse. I have been using that one for ages because I've used the teething excuse for far too long for it to be believable.

Actually, my kid just uses naptime to try to reach the mobile. I really should take it down before he manages to start swinging from it.

I deleted the blogs from the reader so I could properly sort through all of the TTC people who are pregnant, etc., which is what I should have done prior to setting up the reader. Oops.

43 of the TTCers are expecting in 2008! I have set up a folder "Due in 2008" for you all. Some have EDDs, some I need to figure that part out.

A handful of other blogs have been moved into the Adoption section as their journey has taken a different path toward parenthood.

I will continue to work to get things organized before I set up the reader again. :)
